Action of Medicine:

It is especially suited to cases when any injury, however remote, seems to have caused the present trouble. The remedy is indicated following mechanical injuries, strains, and wrenching of muscles, in hemorrhages from injuries, injuries of the soft parts that accompany fractures, and bruises, and ecchymosis, and in concussions of the spine and brain, and in inflammation of the skin and cellular tissue, with extreme tenderness to pressure.
Sore, lame, bruised feeling all over body as if beaten. Hard bed sensation. Sore pain when touched.
Head hot with cold body. Great coldness of nose.
In acute case of injury – controls haemorrhage, promotes reabsorption of extravasated blood, prevents suppuration and septic condition and helps in recovery of parts.
Discharges are foul – breath, taste, flatus, stools etc. Putrid odours of rotten eggs.
Ascending type of rheumatism.
Haemorrhagic tendency. Blood vessels are relaxed, causing ecchymosis, petechiae. Every little hurt makes a black and blue spot.
Symmetrical eruptions; indurated. Very sore acne or crops of small boils.
Aggravation from least touch; motion; rest; wine; damp cold. Better by lying down or with head low.
