This Homeopathic medicine may be indicated in conditions like refusal to let down milk due to the calf’s death. It may be effective in delayed letting down and may help eliminate the need and avoid the risks of Oxytocin injection.

It is based on the homeopathic principle ie “Similia Similibus Curanter” Likes to be treated by likes hence one can easily understand that the following symptoms of different medicines when available in a case can be cured by these medicines.
CHAMOMILLA 30C:
Breast sore, nipples inflamed and very tender. Infants breast tender. Cramps, when child nurses. Milk is spoiled, baby won’t suck.
IGNITIA 30C:
Sharp pains in nipples on deep inspiration. Milk diminished. Infantile colic after taking breast of mother or nurse, who suffers from grief.
ACONITE NAPELUS 30C:
Increase of milk in breast. Breast hot. Milk scanty. Mastitis. Milk fever with delirium.
LACTOCA VIROSA 30C:
Lactuca is a “true galactagogue,” as it increases the milk in the breasts. Milk absent.
PULSATILLA NIGRICANS 30C:
Milk suppressed or very scanty. Weeps when the child is put to the breast. The child refuses the breast. Galactorrhea, in women who are not nursing their children. After weaning, breasts swell, feel stretched, tense, intensely sore, milk continues to be secreted. Secretion of milk during menses.
URTICA URENS 30C:
Diminished secretion of milk after childbirth. Arrests the flow of milk after weaning. Affects the breast glands, genitourinary organs, and liver. Increases milk flow.
ASAFOETIDA 30C:
Breasts turgid with milk, when not pregnant. Deficient milk with over sensitiveness. Galactagogue, insensitive, hysterical women.
PHYTOLACCA-D 200C:
Galactorrhea causes great exhaustion. Milk thick, scanty, unhealthy, dry up too soon. Breast hard as a stone after weaning. Bloody, watery discharge from breasts.
